A bat whose brother was killed and put into soup has indicated that he’s “totally cool with loads of people dying from the disease”. Bat’s are highly social animals, and it’s thought they feel emotions of grief when a family member dies. “We never really got on”, said the bat, “but now he’s gone I know things in the cave will never be the same”. With the virus spreading around the globe, many are wondering what the next step is with the bat suggesting “try making soups from less exotic animals for starters. I spend most of my life in a stinking cave”.
